Error with networked installation

I have an installation of AttendHRM (Lite) on a networked application server. When I try to run the program from my local machine, I receive the following error message:
Database connection failed.
I/O error for file "Attend HRM\Data\ITAS.GDB"
Error while trying to open file
The system cannot find the path specified.
AttendHRM runs with no errors if I am logged directly into the application server.

Kindly explain us about your application network. You may note that the lite version is just a desktop version. We have Enterprise version which can be extended across LAN/WAN. A sample diagram is attached.
