If employee works less than 4 hours, mark as absent (Flexi time)

I've a requirement:

If an employee works less than 4 hours, mark him as absent for the day. Is it possible for 'Attend HRM' to do this?

Hi Josephine,

Yes, Attend HRM can do this in a slightly different way.

For eg: As per your company rules, an employee should work at least 4 hours to claim half a day of work. And an employee works only 2 hours.

Instead of marking him as absent, actual work time will be shown against the employee for the given day under the Attendance module. But, during the calculation, it will be calculated as if he didn't work at all.

You can do this with 'Attendance - Settings'. Set appropriate values for 'Daywise Calculation' and it will work as you want.
