IN/OUT details - how to control in the software

Hi,

We have only 1 reader ( ie, there is no exit reader). Under such circumstances how do I set the software such that the first punch in IN and the 2nd punch is OUT and 3rd punch is IN and 4th punch is OUT and so on

Hi Roland,

As you have a time attendance device with IN/OUT option, we request you to use the same. (Press IN/OUT and flash your card in the device)

And the solution suggested by you may not work in a practical situation. For eg: An employee forgets to punch when he goes out, but punches when he is back from his break. Also, looking at the device, an employee cannot figure out whether he is punching IN or OUT.

The software has an option to consider the first punch of the day as IN and the last punch of the day as OUT. But we recommend you to use your device properly, and upgrade it with an exit reader later on.
